On the morning of September 17th, 2007 I was given a citation for speeding in Addison Texas. I was going 27 miles per hour in a school zone with a speed limit of 20 miles per hour. I am repentant, and though there were no children in sight when I was speeding, it is no less shameful. I will pay any fines that I am assessed because I am a good citizen. I know that there are some of you who feel that I was railroaded by the police because of my notoriety or perhaps because I am half-Chinese. Unfortunately I cannot comment on these matters, but if you feel there was a miscarriage of justice perpetrated upon me today, then you may contribute to the newly formed “Dave Green legal defense fund”.
